Adam Thiemann is a former Army Ranger and special operations soldier in the Ukraine International Legion. Adam recounts his experience of preparing for war in Ukraine before the invasion of Russia, meeting the love of his life, and losing his best friend. He works in the US as a technology professional and is also writing his memoirs about his time in Ukraine. Adam and his wife volunteer for various organizations that support the cause of seeing a free and independent Ukraine.

The Ukraine Independence Fund is a 501c3 tax exempt organization whose mission is to provide medical supplies, protective equipment, and logistical support to volunteers who are working in the most hostile locations throughout Ukraine.
