Hannah is a Software Engineer and the 2020 NSW Young Woman of the Year. She completed her Bachelors and Honours in Computer Science at UNSW, where, as an academic tutor, she discovered her passion for technology education. She won the Anita Borg Award during her final year, "for contribution to society in terms of the benefits of computing for women". Her vision is to create a more inclusive and equitable future for women in STEM. She's held engineering positions at start-ups, Google, and Macquarie Group, as well as teaching positions with Code Like A Girl, the Girls' Programming Network, and UNSW. A recent pivot into Creative Technology at Creatable has enabled her to invest further in her passion for the intersection of technology and education.
