Inside of Episode 19, which releases this Thursday (August 17th), I have decided to cover a very important aspect in coffee….. AROMA! I chose 3 main ‘mini’-topics under the category of ‘Aromatics’ , the first of the 3 being “How we Receive Aromatics”. This ‘mini’-topic will cover how our nose processes aromatics in different ways. The second ‘mini’-topic being, “The Effects on Tasting”. This ‘mini’-topic was chosen in order to relate how we perceive aromatics and how it changes how we taste the coffee, based off of the aromatics. The last ‘mini’-topic being, “Using Aromatics to Create Recipes”. In the final ‘mini’-topic, I will be covering how I use aromatics in cupping to help me dial in recipes for espresso and filter coffee. Hope you guys are excited!!
