The Burbage Valley is a short distance from the edge of Sheffield and as such can busy; but pick a non busy day and this is a great walk. You can get a good idea of the Burgage valley by walking down and then up the Green Drive from the north to south bridges and back. But here the walk is extended by keeping to the higher ground taking in Higgar Tor, Carl Walk, Over Owler Tor, Padley River and the Burbage Edges. This is a half day walk around some impressive crags, over the moors and up a river – a bit of everything,
