Ming loves gardening with Japanese Maples, and learned so much about them since moving to his home across from Villa Park where he lives with his wife and two children. He has many varieties of Japanese Maples--some cascade down and others reach to the sky. I will never look at his garden the same after this podcast.

  • Solar panels on the westside of Iowa City

Listen to the story of 3 homeowners on the west side of Iowa City as they share their successes and hiccoughs as they install and use their solar panels. One of the homeowners describes the Group Buy program which is taking place right now in eastern Iowa, organized by Grow Solar. If you are curious about all the solar panels you see around the west side, this will be an instructive podcast. For others, the concepts of net-metering, return on investment, grid and timing of roof replacement are helpful.
