Around The Waves begins the day with a Mizzou football preview as the Tigers host the reigning national champions and No. 1 team in the country – the Georgia Bulldogs. It has been a tough week for Mizzou football players and fans because of the heartbreaking loss to Auburn last weekend and 5-star wideout Luther Burden's cryptic message on Instagram and ankle injury. Burden is questionable for Saturday's action against Georgia. Game action is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CST. The crew transitions to Mizzou Hockey, where center Nick Spolec discusses the Tigers' 1-2 start and previews this weekend's series against Kansas at home. Mizzou kicked off their season last Friday against Missouri State, where they split with the Bears in Springfield. Also, they lost a close one to Drury 3-1 on Sunday. Next, Around The Waves shifts to the NFL, where they debate which player is the front runner for the MVP thus far. Also, Ryan gives his Ryan's Rapid Rundown, providing the top 5 NFL teams heading into Week 4 as the Miami Dolphins take on the Cincinnati Bengals tonight.
