Episode 8_ Arranged Marriages, Family Traditions & Setting Your Own Expectations
We talk about the following:
Arranged Marriages and Cultural Traditions
The women in her traditional South Indian life who were the hidden secrets of her confidence
The concept that if we ‘have it better than our grandmothers’ then we should stop striving for more
Becoming a ‘self-made’ woman
How motivation doesn’t have to come from an external source, it can come from inside of you
Women bringing their whole selves to the work place, not just pieces
Lalitha’s #1 Culture-Hack: Just because someone else has an expectation of you, you don’t have to live up to it. You can have your own expectations and live a life of no regrets.
