On Sunday, Stu shared this quote from Alain Emerson. Take a moment to read it again. How can you open yourself up to Hope being both your compass and your destination?

“To be fully alive is to be hope-filled. It follows that when we are hope-less we are less than our true selves, we are deficient. We can’t avoid disappointment in life, and we are certainly not immune to it, but the greater truth is that we were created for hope. Seasons of disappointments will come, we should expect them, and we may go through times when disappointment is a deeply real experience - but it should not be our fixed position. Hope should be our default mindset, our go-to theme, the soundtrack of our lives. Hope can become a constant for the child of God. Hope is both our compass and our destination. Not only is hope the resident theme of our story, it also shapes and forms our very souls.”
