We are so excited to bring you our third episode - the first in a series of three! - where we discuss how we protest for social change.
This week, Nyke educates us on how art has historically been used as a medium for protest.

Beyoncé - Lemonade Grammy Speech
Phyllis Wheatley - a famous poet from the 1700s who was taught by her masters how to read and write
Harlem Renaissance:
Zora Neale Hurston
wrote about being Black and Female and what that meant living in the USA during the early 1900s
Also wrote to Black newspapers about US foreign policy in Asia
Pan-African + Pan-Asian conferences during the mid-1900s
Black Grace - Maori Dance Troupe from New Zealand
