Sandra Portal-Andreu is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist and choreographer of Cuban and Colombian descent. Her work combines dance with dialogue, exploring themes of tradition, culture, and identity. Sandra has received support from numerous organizations, including the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Perez Art Museum Miami, and the Miami Light Project. She is also the owner and operator of "Tappas," a small business centered around sustainable home goods.

In this episode, we talk about her family's 'Coming to America' story, her influences as an artist, the balance between motherhood and work, and of course, Miami.
