In this interview, Britt gives us a tour of her 200 year-old barn-studio, what a treasure! We get a sneak peak at her latest paintings, including a series of bird paintings, abstracts, and paintings from her trip to Israel, which feels near and dear to her heart. We talk about her process for planning (or purposefully not planning) collection launches, and trusting what speaks to her to paint next. We also share the story of how we met - many years before the pandemic, we took a class together to learn how to show up on video. It is very fortuitous to be able to be with Britt for her first ever Instagram live; I love how our careers and friendship circles back at opportune times.
