In this interview, Marissa shares the origins of @carveouttimeforart as well as her book “The Motherhood of Art”, co-authored with artist Heather Kirtland. We talk a lot about creating community and sustaining projects over time, even with day jobs. Plus we get to see Marissa’s art and works in progress! I just love learning more about her process and it was so fun to interview her.
