In this interview I got permission from Monica to give you an inside glimpse from her studio. Monica’s haircuts are more than just a trim; every time I come in here I feel seen, heard and understood. Her ability to create hair that is so fun and grows out so beautifully- I just enjoy what she does to my head and get to keep enjoying it every single day! Monica is also a documentary filmmaker and created a film called “I Am Your Hairdresser” in which we get to know several powerful characters who have made a creative lifestyle in integrity with themselves while providing this powerful service to their clients and communities.
