Art Media NW is proud to present this interview with Ron and Maddie Hurst!

Ron has played with Steppenwolf since 1984. He grew up playing drums in school concert bands and studied with legendary teacher Joe Sefcik who taught famous Jazz drummer Joe Morello. He has played with Chuck Berry, John Kay, Ort, and done performances with The Guess Who, Three Dog Night, the Doobie Brothers and the Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam Band.

Maddie, has been a musician all her life, and currently sings with the band Audio Spectrum. She started in musical theater when she was 4 years old, she played with an all girl band named Why Joe-Y for a couple years. She has opened for Jack Russell's Great White and sung duets with Micky Dolenz from the Monkees. She plays multiple instruments including bass, drums guitar and keyboard.
