Someone contacted me on Instagram and said he is a developer and can build a website for me. When I asked him, “Do you have a body of your work that you can share with me?” He sent me a website that said he had built it. The website looked amazing, so amazing I doubted if he had made it or not. I saw the social link on the website of the person who owned the website and sent her the message, “Here is this guy who said he had made your website, I think he did a good job.” Because I didn’t wanna accuse him of lying right on the back. Then guess what she said? She said, “No, he didn’t make the website, yes he suggested SEO works, but not much, I built my own website.”
So rule one of digital communication, Don’t lie, for moral reasons and it’s easier than ever to catch lies in a digital world.
