⚓️ One of the most amazing pieces of romantic French art, “Le Radeau de La Méduse” on display in the Louvre, also has one of the most amazing stories. Painted in 1819, it represents sailors on a raft, hailing a boat in the horizon. Highly symbolic, it’s been used to illustrate political sinking many times.
