Katrina High is the Founding Partner of Artemis Factor, a team of professional women throughout the Greater Philadelphia and North Carolina region dedicated to successfully delivering multi-level projects to the healthcare industry. Katrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University, a Master’s in Chemistry from Lehigh University, and a Master of Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, and Strategic Business Management from Villanova University. Before starting her entrepreneurial journey, Katrina has worked for several leading organizations in the healthcare field, including InnoPharma, Inc and Merck & Co. Inc.
Katrina joins me today to discuss the nitty-gritty details of stepping out of a great career to become an independent woman in business. We discuss the steps she took to leave her corporate career and pave her own path toward success, what it’s like to work with a team of co-founders, and how they divided each co-founder’s roles and responsibilities, and how these role distinctions contribute to their team dynamics. We also talk about the importance of avoiding perfectionism, managing your mindset, and understanding that making mistakes is part of the entrepreneurial journey.
“You have to allow yourself that room to learn and to grow and to not be perfect.” - Katrina High
