I will not buy a book from IntroBooks again. I should have been tipped off by the fact that there is no author!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tracy Tupman?

Book may have been written in Chinese and then translated to English by an algorithm, or just written by a bot in the first place. There is something odd about the sentence structure and paragraph structure - really sounds like a program was used to write the book based on sampling of news articles and phrases from a keyword search.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Artificial Intelligence?

The narrator had an impossible job because there was no coherent progression of ideas and so no way to know where to put emphasis either within the (run-on) sentences or within each paragraph or chapter. The voice is OK, the words pronounced clearly, but there is no performance - for this material using the "read aloud" option for a PDF viewer would yield the same result.

Any additional comments?

If this were the first book I ordered on Audible I would have cancelled my subscription immediately and never buy another program. Audible should do some sort of screening to make sure this material is not sold. This does not meet the minimum standard for an audio book.

Poor quality writing and narration

This book is difficult to follow because it is written in a style that doesn't translate well to narration. The narrator mispronounces numerous terms and doesn't indicate when they are reading a section title or a caption or general copy. The writing style changes from casual to formal, back and forth. The narrator refers to people by name in a way that makes it hard to understand if they are talking about a historic person or a made up character being used to demonstrate a concept. Perhaps the author doesn't speak and write English fluently, as grammar and sentence structure are stilted, tense is frequently incorrect and quantity terms are oddly spoken in singular or plural tenses inconsistently. The coverage of the topic is also cursory and definitely written by someone without depth of knowledge in the topic. It reads at about an 8th grade level of subject expertise-- incomplete and inconsistent.

This is truly an annoyingly poor quality production to try to get through.
