Our guest today is Mahein Kazi , born and raised primarily in Pakistan, after having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Statistics & Economics, Mahein moved to Germany after marriage. Her interest in foreign languages led to her German Language Diploma from the Goethe Institute in Munich. She taught German as a foreign language before moving on to teaching Business English. Truly a global citizen she has lived in Pakistan, USA, Germany, The Netherlands before settling in Canada with her husband and three children. She went back to University after a gap of nearly two decades, completing her specialized honours degree in Cognitive Science, with a focus on the sub-disciplines of Psychology and Philosophy of Mind, with the highest distinction of ‘Summa cum Laude’ at York University, Toronto. She has been an avid volunteer at the Halton Multicultural Council in various ongoing projects working among others with seniors & immigrants.
