Tony Lipps is an artist out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is married with two sons and resides just outside of Cincinnati. He attended Kent State University from 2001-2005 before joining the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in June of 2005. From 2005-2019, Tony served as a Deputy in the jail and as a Patrol officer before making the decision to leave law enforcement to pursue a career as a full time artist.     

Tony works in oil paints out of his studio in Essex Studios, located in Downtown Cincinnati. Tony has spent the past two years learning new techniques for paint application and still developing his subject matter. He has focused mostly on cityscapes and urbanscapes in varying techniques as a source of experimentation with colors and textures.
