Matt's various styles of art range from introspective and nostalgic to the curios and quirky, much like the many phases of life. His realist acrylic pieces carve light and shadow out of blank canvas, drawing the viewer back to quiet times and simple existences.

Matt's more whimsical black and white line creations bend and skew reality to create a contemporary, yet timeless feel, often with a pop of color for excitement.  He calls this collection work "SKEWZme" art due to their ability to elbow their way into the mind's eye. The "Some Beach" collection usually depicts a wry seagull causing a local spectacle - as seagulls often do.
