Louise references the current government's commitment to standalone Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) legislation (off the back of Revive, the national cultural policy released in January of 2023); the work of Dr Terri Janke; IP Australia and Ninti One's report; and the Productivity Commission's Study Report - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Visual Arts and Craftsan initiative begun under the previous government). She also talks about challenges for artists in relation to generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
