Jordan Juarez is currently an MD/MBA Candidate at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and the Co-Director for the Latino Medical Student Association Northeast – LMSA NE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that represents more than 40 local medical school LMSA chapters from Washington D.C. to Maine and represents more than 1,000 medical student members. In this episode, Jordan will be sharing a little bit of his story, sharing some of the challenges he faced as a minority student and how he overcame them. He will also explain why he decided to be a doctor and share some valuable pieces of advice to pre-med students.
