What if Jesus really meant everything that He said? That’s what this series is going to explore. It’s one things to say we believe He said something, but it’s entirely different to be convinced He meant the words He spoke. Believing is an acknowledgement while following is altering the way we live in light of what He teaches. I don’t just want to believe. Jesus doesn’t just want us to believe. As we will read in the message tonight from the book of James, even demons believe things! Each week we will take one basic statement Jesus makes. And tonight we will be looking at Jesus’ statement that we are supposed to love each other the way He loves us. What does that mean? What does that require of me? Does that apply to everyone?
