When we survey the world, we see so much brokenness, so much turmoil and chaos and yet as we look at John 1, the Apostle begins by giving us a hope that we may never have thought possible. That is, that despite all that is wrong in this world, the Light has not been overcome by the darkness. That, in Christ, we can have victory and that this victory was brought about by the loving Father sending His Son directly into His Creation in order to overcome the darkness.
