Elder Abdul Sattar is a one of a kind missionary. His moved to Germany from Iraq when he was a baby. Once in Germany Elder Sattar began his lifelong journey of becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ. Elder Abdul Sattar is currently serving a senior service mission in Germany, primarily as a translator for other missionaries.

Sister Padron has been serving her mission for 14 months and is the first service missionary in her mission. Throughout her mission, she has served in a variety of meaningful ways, including helping with English Connect, serving through Easter Canada Employment Services, and volunteering at a local food bank. During her time as a missionary, Sister Padron has gained a deeper understanding of the power of repentance. She has learned that no matter what we have done or how old we are, Jesus Christ loves us and offers His grace, mercy, and forgiveness to all who come unto Him.

Elder Daley did not want to be a service missionary. When a fellow missionary spun on a stool during a district council Elder Daley's perspective began to change. By persevering and seeing service through he learned the reasons behind the atonement and how to love everyone. In the 18 months he has been serving Elder Daley has become who he feels God wants him to be and wants to keep growing and serving long after his mission.
