Sermon Overview: Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, which traditionally reminds us of our sins, but it also should remind us that Jesus paid the debt for those sins. Therefore Ash Wednesday does indeed begin a solemn journey, but it does not end on Good Friday, as tradition may have it. Rather, that journey actually culminates on Easter morning.
