Ascent to Faith: Trust in Transition, Building Altar and the Seasons of Growth
Remember the euphoric feeling we experienced during our first youth retreat conference? How the mountain air seemed to hold a sacred whisper, a divine presence? We're taking you back to those transformative moments as we explore the concept of God meeting His people on mountains. Drawing wisdom from Isaiah 2:3, we'll accompany the men of the Old Testament on their ascents and delve into God's revelations.
Ever feel like you've stepped off Noah's Ark, into a world vastly different from what you've known? Trusting God during these seismic shifts in life can be challenging, yet it holds the potential for profound growth.
As we journey forward, we also learn the importance of establishing a spiritual foothold. Building an altar, in response to God's call, becomes our tangible way of etching His grace into our lives. We'll chat about how our church has built its own "altar," through increasing worship attendance, life group participation, and growing generosity. Together, let's celebrate God's goodness and His lasting impact on our church community. So, are you ready to climb the mountain, face the flood, and build an altar with us? It's a journey well worth taking.
