Our new sermon series, Hang In There, begins where the whole story of God’s commands truly starts: with the reminder that everything hangs on love. In this Ash Wednesday message, “The Intro,” Pastor Lee lays the foundation for our journey through the Ten Commandments by pointing us back to Jesus’ words that “on this hangs all the law and the prophets.”

As we receive the ashes and enter the season of Lent, we’re invited to see the commandments not as burdens, but as lifelines — signs of God’s desire to shape us, guide us, and call us back to what matters most. This opening message helps us understand why these ancient words still speak hope today and why hanging in there with God begins with remembering who we are and who we belong to.
