Asher Roth grew up in Morrisville where he attended Pennsbury High School. Asher really started rapping when he would battle his friends at school for fun. Asher Roth started by spitting verses in his friend's basement and made CD's to sell at school. After Asher sold 250 CD's in two days he realized he might have a future in hip-hop. What really got Asher into rap was when he was sitting in the car listening to the radio when the Annie Sample came on by Jay-Z. This made Asher crazy to hear the beat and soon he put his own twist on the CD with his own lyrics. After Asher knew he wanted to be in rap he began to post verses on Myspace and sent a friend request to Scooter Braun, a famous manager in Atlanta. Scooter Flew Asher out to Atlanta where he instantly signed Asher, this sent Asher's career on full go.
