A lecturer by profession, a writer by passion. Ashima is the author of the book of poems Canopy and The Fragrant Fable. Her poem on the Himalyan Abode was featured in the Kumaon Literary Festival 2019. She is a poetry enthusiast and recites poetry at Open Mic Events in Mumbai. She also conducts creative writing and public speaking workshops for college students.
