Fighting for herself and others to have the right to speak Ashleigh Rae was just 13 when a man she met on a family camping trip, began grooming and raping her.
She was subsequently let down by the system and turned to the media to share her story. It was then that Ashleigh was informed that ,under victim gag laws,  she could face up to 4 months jail for speaking out about her experience, using using her real name
She is now one of a group of people who are a part of the #letusspeak campaign.
