This week's teacher feature award goes to Ashley Calhoon, a special education teacher from Golden Fields Elementary. She was nominated by a fellow teacher and always does an excellent job, and she really does care about the kids. The Principal says she has a compassion for all the children, and they just adore her.

Mrs. Calhoon receives a special recognition award from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at the Anniversary Inn, dinner for two at the Roof Restaurant downtown, and two season passes to the new Hale Center Theater. At the end of the year, one lucky teacher will win the lease of a new car provided by Burt Bros. Tire and Service.
