We pick up from part 1 of our conversation last week with the incredibly compassionate Counselling Psychologist, Ashwinni Manasseh. We discuss relationship changes new mothers experience after having a baby, both with themselves and their partners.
Ashwinni Manasseh is a Counselling Psychologist who specialises in Perinatal Mental Health, which means she works mainly with new and expecting parents. She also spends a lot of time counselling people going through significant life or relationship changes and has specialised training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy AND Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Ashwinni believes in a holistic and preventative approach to mental health, and encourages her clients to improve their self awareness, so that they are able to detect their own individual signs of detoriating mental health, and are able to proactively seek help early.
Her career in Counselling started in Melbourne, Australia, and now, has continued across borders with @AllianceCounselling, in Singapore, She is currently pursuing further training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing so she can offer an additional tool to help her clients navigate their challenges and traumas.
If you are looking to seek counselling with Ashwinni, you can directly reach her via the Alliance Counselling website.
