Exposed timber post and beam structures leverage the benefits of biophilic design and wellbeing. From a design point of view there are a number of challenges that need to overcome. Nanyong Technological University Academic South Building is Asia’s last post, beam and CLT project. The 40,000 sq m project will cost $180 million and be completed in 2021.
