Listener Teri fired a question to Justin at [email protected] asking about benefits for first responder families after a line of duty death. While your hosts think this is a no brainer, there are apparently municipalities that do not automatically offer benefits for the surviving families of first responders killed in the line of duty.

A quick search revealed a curious case the guys dive into involving the death of an Officer in North Dakota and how it spurred lawmakers to expand benefits to the family. This touched off a tangent discussion because, really, that's what we do!
