When Jesus tells us to "ask and receive", is this a 'name it and claim it' type of prayer? This passage actually reveals a progression of the heart as we ask of the Lord, then seek after those things, and then desperately knock on the heart of God. I'm thankful that we serve a God that wants to give good things to his children!
