Prayer is both a privilege and a responsibility. In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus points to a widow who pursues justice from the hands of a judge who lacks respect for God and man. This example of persistent prayer serves as a negative lesson. Our Father is the opposite of this judge; our Father is good and loving. He desires to give good gifts to His daughters and sons.
