Question 1: Why is it that some Baptist churches do not recognize female leaders equally to the male leaders? For instance, Deborah was a Judge & a prophet and made some great decisions, even in battle. Does the New Testament covenant take women in those kinds roles out of them? Would like a biblical answer about women and their roles. Some denominations do it differently and some have women deacons as well.
