In this episode we list off 3 key questions that you as an editor can ask early on to help yourself BIG TIME later down the road.
A lot of headaches can be avoided simply by asking the right question before you start working. We have 3 questions for the corporate/commercial editor and 3 for the narrative/feature film editor. So really you're getting double the value here.
Nick experienced some frustration dealing with Davinci Resolve 12 last week while assistant editing a feature. The director wants to cut the film right in Resolve for ease of workflow, but it's not as easy as it seems. He's going to share this process in this week's blog post. For now, here are some links to get you started with treating Resolve as an NLE.

And this Tuesday a new plugin will be revealed for Premiere. It's called Post Notes and boasts that it can bring your notes and to-do lists straight into Premiere instead of having to have them open elsewhere and switch between programs constantly. Will it work as well as we're hoping?
