John 9:1-41 is full of questions. The disciples ask Jesus who sinned to cause the man to be born blind. The crowd and Pharisees have an almost endless line of questioning for the man who was healed of blindness, asking him how he was healed, who healed him, where Jesus went and even pulling the man's parents in to be questioned. None of these questions lead to any satisfying answers until Jesus meets the blind man again and asks a new question: "Do you believe in the Son of Man?".
There are many questions constantly being asked in our world: "How do we stay safe?" "Who should I vote for" "Who should I be afraid of", but God gives us different questions to ask: "How do we care for each other?" "What is God calling me to do?" "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus shows us time and time again that we have a God who doesn't give answers, but teaches us to ask different questions. What Questions would Jesus ask today?
