Canadians know what it's like to weather political change - we've just come through a federal election!  Similarly, 'in the days when the judges ruled', there was a growing dissatisfaction with the status quo.  Those in leadership began asserting their demand for kingship.  Were they right in demanding a king?  What did Samuel think of it?  More importantly, what was the LORD's viewpoint?  Someone has wisely said, "Be careful what you ask for'.  What are we asking for?
