As a real estate agent, asking for business is a crucial part of the job, but it's not just about winning the client over. You also need to ensure that the client is the right fit for you. Some important topics and takeaways. Asking for business can be challenging because of the fear of rejection, but it's important to reframe rejection as a learning opportunity and part of the path to success. You'll learn about the "winner's equation." This equation can help us understand and cope with rejection and emphasizes the importance of putting in the effort and taking action to increase our chances of success. When going into a listing presentation, agents should also consider if the client is the right fit for them. As part of the listing presentation booklet, there are five tasks for the seller, with the last one being "I don't work with everybody." This line indicates to the client that the agent is not a hundred percent committed to working with them yet, causing them to want to work with the agent more. It also helps the client understand that the agent is a busy agent and does not take on everything, which helps with conversion.
