Clipped from #95. I feel like my generation sucks at dating. Jim tells me how he asked for permission to marry Jill like a true gentlemen and when I thought about it, it seems like a dying tradition. I already know a handful of people who did not ask for the fathers permission. Some people got married without even telling their families. Now love is subjective and everyone writes their own story, that's the beautiful thing about it. And after hearing Jims story I learned that if it scares you and excites you, you should probably do it.
