In this episode, Juliet and Clinton answer the following questions 1) Should I give my ebook away for free or should I charge for it? 2) What can you do when you are feeling discouraged? and 3) What is a good email open rate?
In this episode we answered the following questions:
1. “I want to create an ebook for people in troubled relationships. I would like to sell it, but I don’t know how. I don’t have an email list yet. Someone told me I could give the ebook away for free but I don’t want to spend a lot of time creating something and not get any money from it. What do you suggest?”
2. “I’m really discouraged. I have been trying to get more clients doing everything I can think of, and my practice seems stuck at about 3-5 clients a week. I don’t know what to do. I have what I think is a good website, I’m listed on several counseling directories, and I have a counselor who sometimes refers to me. What am I doing wrong? I think it is just too competitive in LA maybe? I am so discouraged I don’t even want to try anymore.”
3. “What is a good open rate? I seem to be getting about 20%. That seems really low. I only have about 500 subscribers, but it seems I should get a higher open rate than that?”
