In this episode, Juliet and Clinton answer the following questions: 1) How do I organize blog posts when I blog on different topics? 2) How many therapy directories should I be listed on? 3) How can I get more people to open my emails?
In this episode we answered the following questions:
1. Gary Brown
"Hi Juliet and Clinton!
Thank you for offering this opportunity to ask a question!
I have been blogging almost every week for the last 14 months.
I know that this is current "heresy" not to have a specific niche, but I am a "generalist" who has successfully been working with individuals, couples, parents, and adolescents for over 30 years.
On the menu bar of my website is "Blog". When you click on that, the most recent 10 blogs appear, with additional pages of blogs at the bottom for the viewer to browse.
As of now, my blogs are all jumbled together. My question is this:
Is it better to leave things the way they are, or have a Blog dropdown menu for Individuals, Couples, Parents, and Adolescents? If not a dropdown menu, do you have another idea that you like better?
Many thanks for your time in responding to this!"
2. "I’m not sure if I am getting clients from my directory listings. How many therapy directories should I be listed on? Right now I am on 2 - Psychology Today and Good Therapy."
3. "I noticed that not many people are opening my emails - about 20%. How can I get more people to open them? It doesn’t seem worthwhile to keep sending emails to my subscribers if only 20% open them."
