Alcohol withdrawal can/ will KILL YOU
1. You have to be ready!!!! Not your family, friend etc No one can make you quit until your ready
2. Be prepared to loose ALL your friends. Some temporarily, some for good. When your bettering yourself people will be jealous of you.
3. You must be ready to take accountability and ownership for your actions. No more excuses. No one can make you take that drink, it’s all up to you
4. Go make amends with people you hurt in the process of addiction. But be careful not to attempt to make amends with someone who isn’t ready to see you better yourself. Protect your sobriety at all cost
5. Don’t be afraid to see a Mental Health therapist. Don’t be afraid to attend meetings. Don’t be afraid to live a sober lifestyle.
Words to live by told to me by the late great Rico Harris “ Your sobriety is your #1 focus in life. If you can’t be sober you are doing everyone around you a disservice “
