The Food and Drug Administration and Asli Fine Foods have recalled Asli Fine Foods Cinnamon Powder due to high levels of lead contamination. Affected are 7 oz. Bags with lot number DDDLUS. Lead is toxic to the nervous system and exposure to it can be particularly devastating for young children.
The product was sold in Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio.
