Karen was born in Portland Oregon. A former activist turned body activist, healing one body at a time. She has served in Haiti with refugees. She lived in Haiti during a controversial time. 

Touch is so important and we cannot live without touch. We thrive on having a healthy touch.  When we are touched we release oxytocin, the feel-good hormone.

We hope this episode helps you see massage in a new light, as a way of healing, versus just pampering.
