Suzanne shares the incredible stories of women and children recovering from physical and emotional abuse in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital. Earlier this year Suzanne travelled to Ethiopia, where she visited the Association for Women’s Sanctuary and Development: a safe house, a place providing shelter and support. She met women and children recovering from physical and emotional abuse and witnessed first hand the incredible will to survive that these women have. What amazed her was their ability to support each other through the toughest of times.
